Eleanor Thurgood is a failed Hollywood actress who’s been forced to move back home after starring on a universally despised television show. Eleanor’s mother, Joan, already dealing with the impending doom that is a holiday family gathering, is also hiding the secret of a failing theater that’s been left in her care by her late husband. It’s been one year since the passing of the patriarch of their family- legendary actor Jim Thurgood and both women are feeling the effects of his absence.
But then, a gift. A present from Jim himself. His old volume of “The Complete Works of William Shakespeare.” A book that carries with it a magical ability that leaves Eleanor, and those around her, spiraling down a rabbit hole of the Bard’s most famous works. Dreams, old flames, magic spells, secrets, and illusions all collide in this holiday romantic comedy with an Elizabethan twist.

It is 1890 and Clara Williams must disguise herself as a man in order to achieve her dream of becoming a doctor. Unfortunate events force her to befriend a surly gravedigger named Jack, who’s busy protecting his graveyard from “resurrectionists,” or body snatchers who dig up bodies for profit.
Roxie Brown has recently quit her job and moved back home to make it big as a poet. Her dreams may be dashed as her mother gives her an ultimatum- one that causes her to team up with Drew- a genius, bullheaded medical student who gets on Roxie’s last nerve.
As the story unfolds, it’s clear that love isn’t the only thing connecting these two women across space and time.

There’s murder, there’s drag, and you better believe there’s bowls of floating pasta. Do you believe in magic? Because it’s going to take a miracle for this motley crew of idiots to make it out alive.

Charlie, who is going through a scandal with the tabloids, agrees thinking it will be a reprieve from her current situation, as well as a way to check in on her father, who seems to be losing his mind after an unfortunate tequila vat accident. Complicating matters further is a new step-mother who Charlie believes to not have the best intentions, and a hired deckhand that might not be as loyal as he’s thought to be. Things quickly run amuck when a mysterious, yet handsome, businessman arrives and brings with him some news that leaves Charlie shaken up, and realizing that her father had ulterior motives for bringing everyone together for one last family cruise.
